Membership Benefits

Member Benefits

Membership in The Fremont Group is at three levels–you choose.  Below is a summary of the benefits of supporting The Fremont Group.

Annual Business Physical

The Annual Physical is just as important for your business as it is for yourself.  In the Annual Physical your Success Professional meets with you, your key employees, reviews your financials and asks all the pertinent questions before leaving you with a diagnosis.  This diagnosis becomes your Action Plan for the coming year.

911 Crisis Management

In times of crisis emergency assistance is required.  Business Owners can call or email us for immediate assistance varying from talking through a major issue on the phone to extended time in your office running your company.

Business Round Table

Our Success Professionals routinely invite two or more of their clients to a Business Round Table.  Typically over a long lunch the group discusses a pre-determined issue.  The Success Professional matches business owners with common issues for brainstorming and problem solving.  We never believe that we have a corner on the knowledge market and that often times sharing experiences and issues with other owners helps us all.

Customer Relations Management Software

The Fremont Group has reviewed hundreds of CRM software programs and selected one for recommendation.   We have worked out a discounted trial period that allows you to see for yourself the benefits before having to pay.  We train and provide manuals specific to your company.  If things slip through the cracks in your business, this is a must.

Email Exchanges

Designed for questions and issues that require some research—“What type of CRM system to you recommend?”  “Should I consider leasing or buying?” “Where can I find a good manager?”  Email exchanges allow your Success Professional to get you the information that you need—or just reaffirm a decision that you were considering.

Employee Training Sessions

The Fremont Group Success Professionals have a number of employee training sessions that you can access.  These include:  Sales; Sales Management; Managing People; Customer Relations Software; Time Management; Incentives and Accountability; Quick Books; Financial Reporting; Dealing with Professionals; and others.  The sessions are generally two-hours long and include materials.

Fremont Business Operating System Software

The Fremont Group has developed a series of Excel spreadsheets to assist owners and Success Professionals in the development of Goals and their implementation, Budget and KPI’s, Organizational Structure, Employee Valuations, Labor Burden, and Cash Flow Forecasting.  These are generally used as tools by Success Professional with their clients but can also be used by owners themselves.

Golf Outings and Special Events

There are some benefits to being the owner.  Join your Success Professional for a round of golf at a local country club or for other special events as they arise.  Golf, ball games, theater, and other events are on our calendars.  Use the informal atmosphere to get away and discuss whatever comes to mind.

Minding My Own Business Workshop

Our Minding My Own Business Workshop is a three-hour workshop designed for business owners and their spouses.  The six responsibilities of the small business owner are presented for your self-evaluation.  The workshop is based upon the book of the same title, authored by Dirk Dieters, the Executive Director of The Fremont Group.  All proceeds from the book are donated to The Fremont Group.

Pre-Paid Legal and GoSmallBiz Software

TFG has licenses for Pre-Paid Legal and GoSmallBiz software.  When appropriate it is recommended to our members.  Thousands can be saved in legal fees for collections, leases, contracts, and other basic legal needs and the software enhances training for owners and employees.

Success Partnerships

Success Partnerships are the cornerstone of our activities.  Engagements are for three months and include site work with you and your employees.  You choose the intensity of the work.  Our Success Partners first identify where you are (Point A) and together you determine where you want to be (Point B).  An Action Plan is developed to get you there and then through your relationship with our Success Partner, the Action Plan is implemented.  If you have ever done or considered management consulting from a private firm you will be thrilled to have saved thousands—if not tens of thousands—of dollars while achieving comparable results.

Telephone Conferences

Get to know your Success Professional through telephone conferences.  They can be on a specific issue that you are having or just a “chat” with a trusted, qualified person.  It is lonely at the top—here is someone to talk to.

The Fremont Group Academy

TFG Academy is our on-line learning center.  The Academy offers courses on numerous business topics.  Some courses are lengthy—requiring 15-20 hours to complete—others are shorter requiring approximately one hour.  Each has materials and an exam.

TFG Web Site

The Fremont Group hosts an informational web site.  The blog contains hundreds of articles pertaining to business management.  As a member you have full access to the search engine and the entire web site.  Small business owners make this their first stop for information on everything from Accounting 101 and the Affordable Health Care Act to Employee Issues and Sales Techniques.

Webinars

The Fremont Group sponsors regular series of webinars on business topics.  From home or your office you can listen to one of our Success Professionals deliver a 30-45 minute presentation of topics of interest to small business owners.  If you pick up one thing that makes a difference it is worth your time.
